Is it acceptable to run the vent from my mainfloor laundry up into a cathedral ceiling on one side of the peak and then down to the main stack? Although the pitch would change at the peak there would still be drainage on either side of the vent pipe (one side into the 2" laundry drain and the other into the 3" stack). Can anyone see any issues with this?
Why not continue the laundry vent through the roof and have a second vent? It will certainly look better.
I guess I'm trying to avoid cutting another hole in my roof, but it looks like it may be necessary. I was just thinking that this would be a similar to an island vent loop, but much larger in scale. It's too bad my county won't allow AAV''s
