Question

laundr y drain issue

I decided to add a laundry tub to my laundry room. There was one in the past but I replaced it will just a drain pipe for the laundry the past few years. Well I decided to add one back. I hooked it up with a 1.5" pipe running to a P Trap and then running up to the laundry tub. So I set the Washer to drain in to it. Well I ran the washer and now the tub is not draining out. no other fixtures in my house are having issues. Do I need to add venting or something? Why will it not drain? PLEASE HELP . Note I did auger out the pipe prior to hooking up the sink and it seemed OK.

THanks in advance for helping the newbie. GReat site by the way.

ALL fixture drain systems have to be vented after the trap, or they won't drain properly.
Good luck!
