large drain cover for tub?

i just had a tub liner installed in my old tub. i have had many workers in and out of the house. somehow the liner got damaged next to the drain.

is there a larger metal drain that i could buy which would cover this damage?

there is a small dent right next to the drain. i think my drain is 1 1/2 "

if i could find a drain which covered 2 1/2" it would cover over the dent

i could remove the 1 1/2 drain and replace it. does anyone have any suggestions?
