as far as i know insurance will not cover preexisting problems..or work not performed to code... we are talking about warranty when you bought house....H.S.A..?????

I totally agree but nothing in the bathroom was on inspection report I know I sound like I'm whining but why would the inspector not have caught this!! We have a beautiful bathroom that now needs to be ripped down because a pipe was not secured and now its me who has to foot the bill. I am fine with paying for it but it just is so dumb to me how did that save them any money!!

Jill, I'm in Point Pleasant as well. If you're still looking for a good plumber, let me know. Good luck with your bathroom.

I was a little vague in my earlier post. I meant that I could recommend someone. His name is John Troger and his number is 732-892-3419. I redid my bathroom last year and ran into a problem with my main stack. I asked him to come over to give me a quote on fixing it, but instead directed me on how to do it myself - which is what I wanted, but didn't know how to proceed. He was a nice guy and everyone I've spoken to that has used him has been pleased and felt that he was an honest person. Hope it helps.
