Kohler Aqua Piston Issue

Two weeks ago installed a new Kohler comfort height(my words) commode with a Aqua Piston flush valve, all is well except the commode tends to refill every so often (i assume a leak past a seal on the flush valve), I took her apart and the seal on the center rod looks good, is there also a seal further down on the base where it contacts the tank. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Kohler Aqua Piston Issue

if you bought the toilet at home depot you might have ended up with a b grade, maybe a defective valve. take it back.
