Kitchen Sink

Hello, My Kitchen sink drain basket has been leaking on and off for the 2 years we have lived in our house. My husband 'tried' to fix it once, but bless his heart, he's no handyman. (Now, I grew up with a handyman for a father and usually know my way around these things.) When I got under the sink and unhooked the trap and so on- the sink basket nut and gasket fell off! It was hardly hanging from the 10 pounds of plumber putty that had been shoved up there. PROBLEM FOND! Haha, My question is: Before I head to the home depot, do the flanges come in different sizes? The nut will not screw on the threads, it just turns and turns and the gasket is huge also. I suspect it's for a shower drain. Can I buy the whole "set-up" together to make sure I have all new pieces. And also- Was there supposed to be a washer between the gasket and nut? Because there wasn't one. Thank you for your help

Kitchen Sink

You should be able to find the parts as one unit.
