I changed my kitchen faucet last night. It has two handles and a sprayer.
After installation was complete I turned on the sprayer, hot and cold water. There was some thumping when I turned on both handles, but the water pressure in both was fine. This morning I wanted to use the sink and there was still alittle thumping when I turned on the handles. The hot water pressure was fine at first, but after about 30-40 seconds the water pressure decreased and now there's only a dribble. The cold water pressure is good from nozzle and sprayer.
Thanks for the help, carlas
I fixed the low hot water pressure this morning. After removing both knobs and nuts, I turned the cold water cartridge with my hand, but could not turn the hot water cartridge. I had to use pliers to pull the hot water cartridge out. Underneath the cartridge was a smalll "cup like" rubber washer, that was not sitted properly. I reinstalled the washer properly, put everything back together and the hot water pressure is now good.
