kink in pipe
Here is my situation.
I am redoing an old bathroom and have new copper pipe in the floor. While working I slipped and stepped on one of the lines. The is a slight kink where the copper went trough a joist, and a small bit of flex in the next 10' piece due to the slight bend. There is no leak. My question is do I need to cut this piece back out, or will it be fine since it is not leaking. Thanks for your help. Nick |
Can you post a photo.... My wife once put "just a small dent" in my car:laughing:

I would suggest repairing it now, while you have full access and no water damage. The kink has weakened the pipe and there is no way to estimate whether it will leak later.
