Insulating a pressure tank
Background: I live out in the country, so we have a well. During the summer months, when the weather is warmer and "humid," the very cold well water causes a ton of condensation on the tank, and lines leaving the tank.
I have put that black foam insulation on some of the pipes, to keep condensation from dripping everywhere.
Is there something I can put around the tank? Some type of self adhesive insulation? We replaced the tank last year, and the old one was almost rusted out at the bottom. The problem exists with the toilets as well, but I just put old towels down.
We do not have AC (electric heat, so no duct work for AC), so it will remain humid inside.
