Installing New Gas Range
 

Im installing a new gas range in a remodeled kitchen. the gas line Im tapping into is a 3/4"....when I bring the line up from the basement should or do I need to reduce it to 1/2" and then install valve.

Any info appreciated.

If the inlet is 1/2" at the stove then yes, 1/2" is all you need.

Yes the inlet at the stove is 1/2"
