Installing a Moen TS214 faucet for bathtub

We have our tub roughed for a TS214 Moen faucet. Are we able to install another Moen faucet into the trim that is currently installed? We appreciate your advise.

maybe, mabye not. Depends on what other model you want to put in there. Some models are drastically different in every way, others are identical in construction except for aesthetic stuff like the handle or faceplate. So without knowing the technical specs of the two faucets, this question can't be answered with certainty.
