Installing flange over uneven drain pipe

I need to install a flange over a corroded, uneven, cast iron drain pipe. How do I level the pipe or raise the edge of the flange to get it level when installed? Will it leak underneath if the flange isn't sitting flush with the floor? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why not just cut out the cast and replace it with PVC?
A simple hubless connector will reconnect the PVC to the cast.

Installing flange over uneven drain pipe

I tried to download some pictures, but my computer and the thread wouldn't make that happen. I'm wondering if I'm not explaining it well. Let me try again. My toilet flange is not sitting flush and level with the floor. How do I level off the pipe or make the flange sit flush/level with the floor?

What kind of flange are you using? Is the pipe in concrete or do you have access to it?

I think I have it! Once the tiles were put into place the flange sat level on top so this problem was mute. Toilet installed and working great. Thanks for those who replied!
