Question

Installing 4" no-hub coupler

I'm looking for some advice on installing 2-4"
no hub couplers on a 4" horizontal cast iron soil pipe? I'm doing a repair that requires adding a pvc fitting. Thanks

Installing 4" no-hub coupler

Use a fernco coupling, they slip over the pipe so you can position fitting your wanting to add. Then set coupling and tighten.

Installing 4" no-hub coupler

Sorry for the hijack....but this is kinda related....

Ron, the other day I was at lowes and they have quite a selection of flexible fittings, long sweep wyes, T's etc. Have you ever used then, do you know if they work well? I don't have a specific application, but I can see where they could be handy in the right situation.

Just wondering...
