Install a well pump at my "campsite"?

I've got a piece of property with power(....an outlet at the service panel), a well(....probably 100' away), and no pump. I want to install a pump that I can fit with a plug to be connected to an extension cord when I'm out there using it and disconnected when I leave. My well has a static level of 14', an overall depth of 33', and is 6" in dia. with casing a foot above the level of the slab. It producses at 10 gpm. I don't have any pressure tanks or anything and the well is housed. I want to be able to connect a hose to the outlet from the pump.

I need ideas as to whether this will work for me at all, and how to do it cheapest.....

a well pump on a 100 ft extension cord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT no way
did they at least put in a pitless adapter? Dont think i have ever seen a well pump that was not 220 http://www.goulds.com/pdf/BJ+.pdf ok searched for you start here. IMHO the best route is to call a well guy, really. Keep pump in cabin run PIPE NOT WIRE to well.
good luck

Before we jump off in the deep end (LOL - a little DIY humor) can you tell us the voltage, full load amperage, and the HP of your pump. I've done the exact thing that you are attempting but I wired the pump for 240V with 10/3 SO cord and plug it into my generator some 50' away. Secondly, you can run the pump with no pressure tank but you need to be extremely careful to not run the pump with your hose bib closed or a nozzle on the end of the hose that can shut off the water flow. You don't want to "dead head" your pump. It wouldn't hurt to temporarily set a pressure tank next to the well head with a pressure switch controlling the action and that way you'd have no worries. Here's a couple of before and after pictures of my install. I have a deep well system and you have a shallow well, but the principle is the same.

esteem, I'm looking at your original post a little more closely and if I'm reading it right, it sounds like you got nothing. Is that correct? If that's the case are you looking at a temporary way to get water or are you looking at an interum step to get a little water before you buy a pressure tank and all the valves and controls? By interum I mean purchase the pump that you will keep for the long run.

And exactly how much of a budget do we have to work with?
