Instal A New Toilet

I Need To Replace A Toilet In My Father In Laws House.
I Am Used To Pvc Pipes But He Has Cast Iron. How Much Of A Difference Is There And Are There Any Special Things That I Need To Have Or Buy For This Install

no plumber here, but if you're just changing out the toilet it won't matter, now if you have to do repairs on that pipe that is different, otherwise, yank out old one, use new wax ring and place new toilet in place. If I'm missing something, it will come to me later.

Should not be any problem. Just purchase a new wax seal and bolts. The orientation is the same as PVC but just a different material.

Your water supply MAY be more challenging than the drain. does it have a shut off? The braided hoses are nice or vinyl tubing if straight.(it kinks if trying to make too quick of right angle turn)

If the flange is not cracked or broken you will be fine. Install it the same way as if it was a pvc flange with a bowl wax
