infloor heating and toilet

just putting down infloor heating in my bathroom ,and took up toilet and flange. My question is do you put the flange on top of your tiles after you have everything put down(heating cables, floor leveler, thinset then tiles)?I made a little form just a little bigger than flange and was going to build it up to the height of the tiles because I dont have anything to drill thru the tiles to secure the flange with.Is this the right way to do it?

infloor heating and toilet

Yes, toilet is the last thing to go in.

The toilet sits on the tile and mounts to the flange only - you don't have to drill holes in any tile. It will look something like this. What you see here is the original flange covered with tape to keep grout out of the bolt holes while grouting, a flange extender is sitting on top of the original flange for illistration. Eventually the extender will bolt/screw to the the old flange.

That shouldn't be too difficult most-any hardware store or home center should sell them.
