Impossible to fix leaky faucet

People,

Popped in a faucet on a sink - faucet worked well before on another sink. Now, faucet has a steady drizzle of water. Cold and hot water handles are closed all the way, of course. Why would this faucet, which worked great on another sink drizzle steadily on this sink?

Is it the goose neck base seal or would you suspect the valve at the cold? (hot side is shut off/blocked, as we use cold only here- no hot water tank hooked up).

Thaks

It may have picked up some trash in it from the lines being turned on and off.
Take apart, clean it out and inspect.

It's possible. As Joe reccommends, clean the cartdrige, aerator, etc. Try taking it apart and putting it back on, maybe o-ring got folded or pinched when you assembled it, etc.

Just be aware, some goose necks don't come apart, (sealed unit), when they start leaking from the base like that, you have to replace whole faucet. What brand do you have? Can you post a pic? Thanks.
