I have a question

I have a question for you all. Had a slow draining toilet upstairs and in the basement, the upstairs was the worst. I took off upstairs toilet and snaked drain. Snaked the roof vent, snaked building drain from the clean out in the basement, some roots came back with the snake(about a handful) reamed out under rim holes in toilet. After all this it still drains slowly. Any ideas?!

The last time I had something stuck in the trap (bottle of nail polish) I had pull the stool and use a garden hose to reverse flush from the botom.

I have a question

I put my money on a slow main drain to the street---re connect that upstairs toilet---get someone to flush that one while you have water running in the tub --sink and anything else you can turn on--

Flood the system---see if the main can handle it--the basement toilet hole should over flow if the main is draining slow---

I have a question

Ok I'll get the homeowner to try that one. The only noticeable problem was a slow toilet upstairs and in the basement the toilets a bit slow. The main floor is fine.

First I'll try snaking the toilet s trap then if that doesn't work flood the system, If it's not the main building drain draining slow then replace toilet to correct the slow draining toilet?

Tooth brushes and the like are difficult to remove with an auger- you think its clear and then paper hangs up.... back to square one.
Pull the toilet, run the auger through the trap, tape on a big rag and pull it back with the auger.
