First recalibrate the pressure tank. Turn off the pump and open a faucet or two. Then pressurize the tank to about 5* pounds if it is not already that high or higher. Wait for water to stop flowing keeping the pressure at at least 5 pounds. Then turn off the faucets and turn the pump back on.

After the pump gets going the pressure should get up to the 30 lb range.

If you still have problems maybe the well is running dry or the pump is malfunctioning.

* More if you have specific instructions for your system to start with a higher pressure.
