How should I deal - replace this


I would like to install a cleanout, I think?

That looks like lead pipe?
It takes real skilz to work with lead- it's a lost art.
Consider removing that and donating it to a plumbing trade school's museum

Thanks yeah it's a shame my father in law, former commercial plumber, has Alzheimer's! Really could use his help on this project!
