How to Replace Dorf El Toro Washer

I thought the washers are worn as it is not easy for parents to tighten up and it always driping. I tried to uninstall the tap but cannot go further. Need instruction urgently. Thank you very much.

Those escutcheons unscrew --counter clock wise--you may need a rubber strap wrench to do this without damage.

How to Replace Dorf El Toro Washer

Thanks. Oh'Mike. What does word "escutcheons" mean? How can a rubber strap wrench hold the bell shape cap tightly? One of my friends said it needs to be done from the bottom of the basin (unscrew something underneath the basin, I touched there is something can be unscrewed). I don't know what to do now.

The bell cap is what I meant by escutcheon ---You don't need to do any thing under the sink--that is held in place by a nut on the top--under the bell--

Once that bell is off post another picture---I never heard of that brand--I hope you can get repair parts--Mike---
