How much to charge for 30 ft of ABS drain re-route to sidewalk

Tree roots "tombed" my neighbors front yard 3 inch water drain pipe. I'm diverting the pipe with 3 in. ABS with four 45's around the tree to the sidewalk, abandoning the white drain pipe and reconnecting where it drains to the street. How much to charge $$ for 30 ft ABS with four 45 turns and one vert. drain 16 inches deep with 4% slope?

Pricing questions never work here---If you can't guestimate the time and materials--you are going to be in trouble----

Is it safe to assume this is a landscape drain? If it is a house sewer line--your repair idea is not so good----

It appears as though you are asking for a ballpark figure. I will reiterate oh'mike's statement about pricing.

But, if you want some ballpark figures here they are:

Dodger Stadium---56,000
Yankee Stadium---53,325
Coors Field--- 50,490
Turner Field---50,097
Arlington Stadium---49,170
Comerica Park--- 41,255

If I were you I would call the local plumbing inspector.. there always good at giving out ballpark prices to people. Just make sure to leave your full name.. date of birth... social security number and address where you can be found..

I guess you can see you aren't going to get a dollar answer. The thing is, there are just too many variables - where you are, who is doing the job, how hard the digging is, etc. Also, as mentioned, your loop around the tree idea is not a good one because there are too many turns. To even be legal you would need to add at least one clean-out.

As much as you can get is what you charge. Be sure and have that plumbing license handy for the fines that will follow from your inspectors.

Id say around $10,000.00 to be safe, that should cover your legal fees and still leave enough left over to sub out the repairs afterwards to a licensed plumber if required in your area.

where to start where will it end for every foot of line you add to the reroute you'll need to add it to the pitch at the end of the run , one very big part experience one small part luck,, as to the cost get it written in stone don't pay for someones inexperience.

Good point. How can the OP drop the line this drain runs into?

Looks like the tree will need to move and not the pipe.
