Default How to make crap flow uphill

Considering adding an upstairs bathroom to an old house. Getting the drains over to the stack will be next to impossible (if only using gravity as a means of making them work). Is there a way to flush water against gravity so that tying into the stack is more easily accomplished? I have never seen or done anything like this, but I'm guessing the pros might have some thoughts. The house has an addition and tying in is going to be a challenge.

thanks

Only way to defeat gravity is with a pump. Sounds like you may need a Sani-flo toilet with a macerating pump.
