How to finish bathtub faucet.
Hello all. First time poster here. I remodeled my tub and replace bad valve and hardware. Tiled over all. Everything works good except I used shark bite fittings and on my downspout to tub faucet the shark bite left that piece with lots of play in it. Unlike soldered. I tried to secure it with some pex nail clamps but there is still some play. Should I silicone around spout? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How to finish bathtub faucet.
The only sure fix is to replace the sharkbite with a soldered fitting.
Hope you didn't use pex to the tub spout- if so replace it too- it will restrict flow and divert water out the shower head- sorry for the bad news
