How to Find and Shut Off the Main Water Valve

I just wanted to tile my bathroom floor. Turns out I am going to have to remove the bathroom vanity. In order to do that, I have to find the main water line shut off, so I can turn off the water to my house, cut the tips of the sink lines and cap them off. I attached a photo of one of the sink lines. (Well, I actually have a different shut off valve I am going to put on the sink lines). But, I do not remember where the Main Shut off valve for my home is. I don't even know what it is supposed to look like.

My home is only 10 years old. Built in Northern UT. Any thoughts on where to look for it? What it might look like? Please, I need help fast. I just want to get my project done.

The water heater and furnace is in the basement. I also have a laundry room next to my family room on the ground level. The bathroom is on the second level.

Main valve will have typically a gate valve, union, meter, union and then another gate valve, it will either be through the concrete floor or low on the foundation wall.

I wouldn't know if its near the water heater, the gate valve is not important if you are not familiar with one, the thing to look for is a water meter, or a pipe coming through the concrete either on the wall or in the floor.

Gas and electric are typically outside, because they don't need freeze protection.

Follow the cold water pipe back from the HW tank.

Looks like you found what you were in need of, by the way that is a pressure reducing valve between the 2 ball valves.
