How do the stoppers on vessel drains pop out?

Hi, I've got a vessel sink with an overflow. I want to buy a drain with a stopper, but I'd like to know how the stoppers are removed before I buy. The sink will be glued and siliconed onto the tiled countertop. I need to be able to remove the stopper to unclog the drain without dismantling the sink.

Thanks.
