How to cut toilet drain?

I have a roughed in toilet drain stub(4" ABS I believe) that is sticking out of the ground about a foot with a cap on it. I need to cut it down to the proper height. What is the best way to get a clean cut on a pipe this wide?

Saws All with a hacksaw blade works well---Japanese pull saw is swell---what do you own?

How to cut toilet drain?

You have to cut it below the floor. There is a tool that goes into a drill for doing this. It looks like a large drill bit with a tiny (about 2 inch)circle saw blade on the end. Look in the plumbing section at Home Depot where they keep the Ridgid plumbing tools. You cut from inside the pipe with it.

Try an inside pipe cutter, http://www.homedepot.com/buy/plumbing-plumbing-tools/brasscraft-inside-pvc-pipe-cutter-123985.html.

Or this one. http://www.homedepot.ca/product/brasscraft-pvc-cable-saw/909086. I've always been curious how well this would work.

yes they work well untill your keyless chuck drill loosen up and down the pipe it goes.
so i always stuff a rag down a little deeper in pipe so if it does fall out you can reach it
