How to connect Valve to Transfer Switch When 9/16" off!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... Please open below and scroll to the second page. On the top right corner there is an "Example" picture.

http://www.moen.com/shared/docs/inst...s/ins1972a.pdf

That's what I am trying to install. As you can see, the 1/2 copper pipe coming out of the valve (bottom) and going into the transfer switch (top) are shown to be 9/16" off. Is there a copper fitting that can handle that?

I wish instructions were better!

Thanks

Use a 45* and a street 45* that should move that pipe back the 9/16s you need---

How to connect Valve to Transfer Switch When 9/16" off!

Thank you, guys. Fortunately, I learnt "street" term last night, when I posted another question. ;-)

There is almost 7 inches between the two valves.

So, the suggestion is to connect a 45 street elbow to the pipe, then connect a regular 45 elbow to that, then run a short pipe from there to the valve?

HD has 3 kinds of 45 valve. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/cata...ry=Search+All-

I expect you are referring to #2 and #4 in above link?

Would using flexible copper pipe be an option?

You want a st 45 and a regular 45- items 2 & 3 in your link.
You pipe out of the valve- build the offset- then pipe into the next valve.
I don't recommend soft copper.
