How to change the shower valve?

It's up to you. The valve can be changed from either side, open whichever wall is going to be easiest for you to repair afterwards. Usually it's the sheetrock wall to the back.

How to change the shower valve?


After 4-5 days of no water, the new valve is finnaly in and not leaking. Leaked the first time because it was just super hard to get the torch up in there with out burning the house. The new Delta design is superior, what a huge difference.
