Hot water tank

OK< I admit this is a dumb question. Who would I call for a hot water tank problem? Plumber? Heating tech?...and if anyone could help with my problem. My pilot light won't stay on, and yes, I already replaced the thermocouple. I did recently have water in my basement but I don't think the level was that high. Thanks

If you have natural gas then call gas company. Usually they do checks for free, If not natural than propane people, next in line plumber

If it is not the thermocouple, it may be in the control. Dampness may be causing a short. Calling a Plumber may help, but you may need a new control which probably won't be cheap.
