Considering a hot water recirculating pump for a single-wide mobile home 14' x 70'.
Insulation barrier is not intact, so pipes are easily accessible currently. Barrier will be replaced after recirc pump is installed. However, the model I'm considering has the pump w-timer (plug in cord) connected to the hot water outlet at the water heater... pumping away from the heater, and toward the temp activated by pass fitting connected to the furthest fixture from the water heater.
Pump then pushes the cold water in the hot line across the bypass valve at furthest fixture into the cold water line and back to the water heater, during the selected, activated time periods on timer.
Grateful to know what you would recommend as the least expensive (but not junk) recirculating pump. Also grateful for an improvement on this method or an entirely different and better idea if you have one.
