hot water pressure

check for a restriction at the water heater. is the valve on the inlet side all the way open. galvanized pipe would be another reason. hook a hose on the water heater drain and see if you have good pressure there. if you do the restriction is on the outlet side of the water heater somwhere. the connection on the hot side of the water heater is where i would look first. if the pressure from the hose hooked to the drain is low then the restriction is in the cold line feeding the water heater.
