Hot Water Overflow Leak

I have a 140L Copperflow Electric Heat Exchange hot water system, model 2895.
It is dated 02/2004.

In the last few weeks the 'Overflow' has gradually increased its leaking rate, to near a constant flow. (There is a mains tap before the HPNR valve and HWS so currently I am just turning this water feed on and off when requiring hot water.)

After various consultations, I decided to replace the 'RMC' HPNR valve, (around $130).

The leak now seems worse than ever!

Is there another possible cause to the leak?
Is the new HPNR valve likely to be faulty?

Thanks for any interest.

Hot Water Overflow Leak

Does this system have an expansion tank? If so see if it is defective.

Is there a pressure regulator /back flow/fast fill valve? Check to see if the valve is on fast fill instead of the normal operating position.

Hopefully a boiler guy will spot this one---Mike----

Hot Water Overflow Leak

No expansion tank, pressure regulator, back flow or fast fill valve -
it is a coil system that is immersed in heated water. The High Pressure Non Return valve is really two valves; for the heated water (not under pressure) and the for coil water (under mains pressure).
I now believe the coils are leaking into the heated reservoir surrounding them.
This causes the reservoir overflow excess leakage.
Simply, new system required.

Cheers for your time though.
