Hot water not working in one shower??? Help

Hello...

I have not used our guest shower in over 4 years. I tried using it today and the hot water will not heat up? It is a single tap and the water pressure is fine just wont get hot? I have a sink in the same bathroom that I use all the time and this heats up just fine? Does it have something to do with not using it for such a long time and how do I fix this?

Thank you for any help!

Good luck-have fun--MIKE--

Thank you !!!!! I replaced the cartridge!! It cost me $40 but I am sure that is very small compared to having a plumber come out!
