hot water murky for tap

When I turn on faucet hot water comes out murky white. How do you get the air out of the hot water tank?

Normally, the hot water outlet will be right at the top of the hot water heater, so drawing hot water from the tank SHOULD also remove any trapped air.

I'd run some water out of the tank's drain valve and see if it's also murky white.

Bashing my head against the walls in some of the internet's finest chat rooms.
