Hot Water Faucet Flow

When using the Kitchen faucet, which is new, and the tub faucet, which is old, the cold water pressure is excellent. However, when switching the faucet handle to hot, the water pressure is significantly reduced.

What causes the pressure drop and can it be fixed?

Thanks in advance for any advice that you can give me.
