hot water in cold taps


after installing a new hot water heater the cold water taps run hot then turn cold after 20 seconds

hot water in cold taps


Sounds like a cross connection between the hot and cold. do you have a recirc line? or was it simply 1 hot pipe and 1 cold pipe? Maybe you can take a picture of the water heater with the connecting pipes and we can see if anything pops up.
