Hot Water

Can some one give me some information on the Marathon Hot water tanks? I keep hearing how efficient they are and I was all set to buy one, but the average cost to run this thing for a year is about $500!!! How is this any better than any other electric tank? I am thinking I would be better off with a tankless system. Anyone have any advice on this matter?

You'd be better switching to gas, if you can.

Electric is already as effiecient as it can get .......... 100%
