Hole size in stud for DVW pipe

What size arbor do I need to buy to install 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe in a stud.

It needs to run about 5 feet through 3 to 4 studs.

I assume that 1 1/4 inch won't work due to the pitch for the drain.Or am I wrong?

That would normally be a piece of 1 1/2" pipe that you tie a 1 1/4" trap into coming out of wall,is it for a bathroom sink?
The pipe size is going to be the inside diameter of the pipe,a 2" hole should be close for a piece of 1 1/2" pipe.

If that would be the case, not sure a 2 inch hole bored thru a 2 by 4 would leave much structural integrity.
The wall is non load bearing,so I guess its possible, and yes,it is a bathroom sink.

Ive seen a lot more taken out of 2x4s,not that i reccomend or would take 3" out of a load bearing wall ive seen people do some really stupid things over the years
A 2x4 is actually 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" so removing 2" from a non load bearing stud wall isnt that bad
