Hissing sound in the basement taps
I just moved to a resale house which is about 12 years old. In the last couple of days I noticed that there is some hissing sound (in bursts, not continuous) in the basement taps when it is turned off. It is an unfinished basement and it is the laundry basin's taps that are making noise. Is it something I should get it checked ?
I let both cold and hot water for sometime and closed it. It didn't help. Any inputs would be highly appreciated and thanks in advance. Last edited by Hoysala; 12-22-2009 at 02:37 PM. |
