High pressure Shower Head

I recently remodeled my shower with a single control system.
Had to change my old shower head to match the new set up & the shower head that came with it lacks the power of my old one.

Where to find a High pressure massaging shower head like yrs past?

Thanks in advanced!

The Federal Energy Policy Act of 1992 mandates that "all faucet fixtures manufactured in the United States restrict maximum water flow at or below 2.5 gallons per minute (gpm) at 80 pounds per square inch (psi) of water pressure or 2.2 gpm at 60 psi."

Drill out the restrictor, unless they put in some booby trap to prevent this?

If you stay with low flow "your [hi-flo] neighbors may openly praise you for being a good citizen and privately condemn you for being a simpleton."

"Social trap is a term used by psychologists to describe a situation in which a [person acts] to obtain short-term individual gains, which in the long run leads to a loss for the group as a whole."
The '92 law is to benefit "the group as a whole".

I took out a washer that was inside, it improved a little but it still doesn't have that UMPH!!

Just tonight on Seinfeld this exact subject!

I took a drill to mine.

Don't drill it unless there is adequate material so you don't end up damaging the thing rather than improving it.

Are you on a well or Town water ?

Do you know your water pressure ?

I called Delta to complain about the flow through the new shower head I bought. The lady I talked to there walked me through removing 2 things inside of it to increase the flow.

The water pressure to our house is very low, so adding a low flow shower head was awful.

Removing those two parts helped a little bit.

Is there a company in another country that still sells the full power shower heads?

I do not believe they would be able to sell them in the US.

Probably not.

Did they force the lawn sprinkler industry to change to low-flow? :)
