Hi, we just moved into a new construction home. There is a SuperStor SSU-60 water heater in our basement. the problem is, the water in the house doesn't get hot at all. it's warm at best. can someone please explain how to increase the water temperature? we've looked all over the web and in the manual but it doesnt help. There are no switches, knobs, or anything that can we even use to adjust on the actual tank. thanks!
Any access panels that can be unscrewed? Electric water heaters have screwdriver adjustment temperature controls under each of the two panels on the side.
Is yours a "full heater" or just a tank? Some Superstor models rely on an external heater or furnace to actually heat the (domestic) water or to circulate boiler water through a coil in the tank. A furnace may need a separate motorized zone to make all of this work properly.
The good conscientious technician or serviceperson will carry extra oils and lubricants in case the new pump did not come with oil or the oil was accidentally spilled, so the service call can be completed without an extra visit.
