Help with shower drain install in concrete floor!!

Hey guys,

I need some assitance in how to tackle this job. I am a pretty good DIY person but am really reluctant in trying to start this project. I have a half bath downstairs (concrete slab) and want to put in a tiled shower. Now, I know that I have to first remove the tile and then cut into the concrete from where the shower drain will be, so I can tap into the main sewer pipe. I am just having a hard time talking myself into starting this project. Is this something that I REALLY need a professional to do, or is this something that can be done if I just take my time? I just don't wan to screw up my foundation in my home by cutting s section out of it.

Thanks!!
