help! need to figure out some cheap but decent fixtures for a custom tub install

I am trying to do a custom roman tub/shower install in my home and need some help designing it or finding the parts I think I need.
crude sketchup pic I threw together because I thought it might help.
The bathtub is a Kohler tea-for-two 6'. I want to use it as both a soaking tub and a shower, but because of the alcove it is in, I'd like to position the spout/diverter and mixer handles so the water can be turned on and adjusted for temperature before getting in and diverting the water to the shower head. I placed circles on the pic to give general whereabouts of where I imagined the different parts. If possible I'd also be interested in installing a second hand shower in the deck rim next to the diverter.
The filler spout would need to be 10-12 inches long I think, and I'm not sure if diverters like what I want exist. Any suggestions?

A long fill spout like that is going to be difficult to find---and big bucks if you do.

Why not use a deck mount tub spout?

That is a drop in tub, right??? And you want a shower head?

How will you water proof the tub deck connection?

Where is the water going to drain when it lands on the deck??

Water proof floor with a drain?
