help me finish fixing my running toilet
trying to fix a toilet where the tank was constantly running. I bought the new flow valve unit that controls the water filling the tank and want to replace the whole thing since the old one broke near the bottom (brittle plastic or something)
problem is I can't figure out how to remove the plastic that is left. See picture.
can I just start breaking all the plastic and hope what's in the screw hole will break? should I try to break up the seal and go at it that way? thoughts?
any help is appreciated. figured someone here had this problem and has an answer.
remove big nut under tank its where water supply hooks up...may need a wrench for inside so it don't turn....remove all old stuff...
