Help Extending Hoses, etc. for Washer/Dryer

I need to move my washer and dryer about 12 feet total. 6 feet down, then right angle another six feet.
Right now they have the standard hoses and plugs.
Both washer and dryer have the steam feature, so they both need hot water.
Is there a maximum length, or potential problem with just buying longer hoses, pigtails and vents?
I would like all the pro's and con's.
Where would be a good place to find these hoses and pigtails?
Re-plumbing would be too expensive.

For a hose that long you would need to go to a garden center. You need to move the water supply lines to do this right.
It's hard to say anything about the vent without seeing it but their is a maximum distance you can run a vent and you can only have so many bends in it.
