Help. Drywaller screwed concrete board through new shower pan liner.

Hi Everyone,

I am currently remodeling my basement and hired out the drywall installation. Yesterday, I noticed screws at the bottom of the concrete board similar to the installation of drywall. The pan liner goes up the wall 6", and the screws are 1/4 off the floor in the shower.

I am concerned the shower pan liner will no longer be effective and water will leak out over time. How can this issue be resolved?

Best Regards

No---you are going to have to replace the liner or switch to a Hydroban waterproofed shower----
