Help Dishwasher Draining Problem

The majority of water from the dishwasher is draining from the overflow spout into the sink and water is draining down back wall and around sink back underneath sink. I removed the pipe 7/8" dishwasher drain pipe from green Y, pipe connected to dishwasher to determine if there was a stoppage. It needs to be cleaned but it was not clogged. It did not use to backup like this. The overflow on topside has so much water coming out that it gets all over the counter and leaks back down to all cabinets and onto floor. I need an idea how to reroute.

Help Dishwasher Draining Problem

I'm not sure about the connections but if its backing up into the sink, and it didn't use to, I'd say there is a clog somewhere in the drain pipe, you might be able to check it out further down the line.

I agree with Dude. It is a blockage in the sink drain pipe. You would not notice it so much while draining the sink, but the pump on the DW has much more volume. Also check where it connects to the disposal.
