Help


my mother lives in the basement apt of this house, is there any way she could have accidently turned it off, she isnt home at the moment,,,troy just said there is no water at the bleeder

Help


Then you will need to turn hot water off at water heater and remove the shutoff valve and check for blockage there.

Could be the case if there is a shutoff going to the sink only, thats way I asked about other fixtures having hot water flow.

wouldnt that effect the whole house, we have 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens and no problems anywhere but our upstairs kitchen sink. when he took the bleeder cap off it trickled a bit

there is a shut off value on each fixture in the house...could this be freezing...wouldnt the cold be frozen too then?

the temp went down to -30 windchill today but the pipes are inside the outer wall and the gyprock where should we be putting the hair dryer?

we are going to see if the pipes thaw over nite, we cant get at the pipes to thaw with the hairdryer...thanks so much for all your help i will post again when we have hot water in the kitchen. for now we have to start boiling water for dishes...thanks again

update, woke up this morning now the cold side isnt working. have been using hairdryers all morning, have trickle thru both cold and hot. just called a plumber in...will update again when i know something...thanks again for all your help
