Question

heating /water pump

Moved into a house with a strange heating and hot water pump arrangement.
Flow from gas boiler goes through a pump (SMC Comet Controller) with two outlets, - one to the indirect copper cylinder coils ( with valve) and the other outlet through another pump to the microbore heating radiator system.
The three way pump is noisy and I fear will need replacement.
Are they still made or is there a better way of doing the job.?
I was a plumber 30 years ago but havnt seen anything like this before.
